Botanical and Natural History Illustration
at Dartington Hall, Totnes
24 Thursdays from March 2011, in three terms with half term breaks, Easter and summer holidays.

We will teach you the basic skills essential for the accurate illustration of plants and natural history subjects. You will learn the rudiments of such painting through a series of structured exercises. If you wish to specialise in botanical illustration, you may work towards the diploma awarded by the South West Society of Botanical Artists (SWSBA).

The course is for beginners and artists at all levels. No previous experience is required.

Many of our students have won awards from the Royal Horticultural Society.
