Botanical Painting in Somerset

24 Wednesdays from 8 February 2012, in three terms with half term breaks, Easter and summer holidays.

I will teach you the basic skills essential for the accurate illustration of plants in watercolour. You will learn the rudiments of such painting through a series of structured exercises. You may also choose to work towards the diploma awarded by the South West Society of Botanical Artists (SWSBA).

The course is for beginners and artists at all levels. No previous experience is required.

DISTANCE LEARNING

If you are unable to get to the course but would like to learn more about botanical illustration, why not become a distance learner? You work at your own pace on graded assignments, with one-to-one sessions and attendance at courses if and when convenient. Please contact me for more details.
