I specalise in botanical illustration using watercolour and have been inspired by working at the Lost Gardens of Heligan and later at the Eden Project, where I was a pivotal member of the Friends team. I hold an RHS Silver Lindley medal for my exhibit of Fungi Found at the Eden Project, and a Bronze medal for watercolours of potatoes. The eight potato paintings have recently been hanging in the offices of a local company that packs potatoes for Tesco!
I have recently retired after five years as Founder Chairman of the South West Society of Botanical Artists (SWSBA) and was also a founder member of the Eden Project Florilegium Society.
I teach botanical painting in my village near Taunton, Somerset.
I exhibit watercolours, prints and greetings cards with SWSBA. Our next exhibition will be at The Meeting House, Ilminster, from 15 October to 3 November 2012. Come and see us!
